We knew it was coming, but that doesn’t make it any easier to report that the final PS 295 Farmers Market of the season is this Thursday. The school has a great day planned, though, with Chef Sia Pickett of Just Foods back to demonstrate a tasty Brussels sprouts with walnuts and dried cranberries recipe…just in time for Thanksgiving!

Be sure to stop by and visit the kids, parents and teachers one more time before they “hibernate for the winter.” You can find the full breakdown of this week’s available goodies below:

Apples
Kale
Tatsoi
Mustard greens
Lettuce
Escarole
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Radishes
Brussels sprouts
Beets
Carrots
Watermelon radishes
Fennel
Honey
Maple syrup
Chicken breasts
Chicken wings
Dried apples
Spare Ribs

Congratulations on a successful first market year, PS 295!

The PS 295 Farmers Market (19th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues) runs every Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm.
