Two Victims Stabbed In Prospect Park Wednesday Night; Suspect Arrested, Police Say

Two victims were stabbed in separate incidents Wednesday night in Prospect Park. The police arrived on the scene at approximately 11:30pm on March 9.

According to police, 26-year-old Keny Rochelin has been arrested who may be responsible for both incidents.

The first incident involved a 30-year-old man who was jogging in the vicinity of Lincoln Road and East Drive, as reported by News 4 New York. Rochelin pulled out a knife, attempting to stab the jogger.

According to cops, the victim was stabbed in the hand while fighting off the suspect, who then fled the scene.

The second incident took place soon after. Rochelin came upon and stabbed a 42-year-old man in the stomach in the vicinity of Ocean and Parkside Avenues. Rochelin then stole the victim’s wallet and then ran off.

The two victims were taken to Kings County hospital. Both are in stable condition.

According to police, the 26-year-old suspect was arrested Thursday morning, and charges are currently pending.
