The Prospect Park Carousel Reopens This Thursday!

It might be a little rainy, but at least it’ll be a bit warm this Thursday, March 26, making it a pretty good day to bring your family to the seasonal opening of the Prospect Park Carousel! The kids’ favorite will be back up and running starting at noon.

Hours this season will be 12-5pm Thursday through Sunday until June 29, as well as during Spring Break (April 3-10). Rides are $2, or $9 for a book of five tickets — or free for a family of up to four for a year when you join the Prospect Park Alliance at the $125 level.

The carousel is located inside the Prospect Park Children’s Corner, easily reachable via the park’s Willink Entrance at the junction of Flatbush and Ocean Avenues and Empire Boulevard (take the B/Q to the Prospect Park stop). Learn more here, and enjoy the ride!
