The NYPD is looking for two suspects in connection to a cell phone snatching that occurred last month at a local subway station.

Just after 5pm on Monday, December 22, 2014, police say a 36-year-old man was on a northbound F train, and when it stopped at the 7th Avenue station, one suspect held the car doors, while the other nabbed the victim’s Samsung Galaxy Note phone. Police note the victim gave chase — at which point the suspects threw the phone onto the tracks — but the suspects got away.

The two male suspects sought in this grand larceny, pictured above, are both described as being about 16 years old and around 5’7″ tall.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s crime stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). You can also submit tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
