Police Seek Three Teenagers Wanted in Cypress Hills Robbery

CYPRESS HILLS – Police are looking for three teenagers in connection with a robbery in Cypress Hills earlier this month.

Just before 9:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, the three suspects approached a 23-year old man near Nichols Avenue and Fulton street, engaging him in conversation, police said. When the victim turned his back, one of the crew picked him up from behind, slamming him to the ground.

Two of the individuals punched and kicked the victim while he was on the ground, stealing his backpack, police said. The three teens fled with his cell phone, wallet, debit card, $100 in cash and a video game system.

Police described the suspects as three male Hispanic teenagers, 16 to 18 years old. The first was wearing a dark colored hooded sweater, black coat, black pants and black sneakers. The second was wearing a gray, pink and black hooded jacket, brown pants and white sneakers. The final suspect was wearing a gray knit cap, a black coat, gray jeans and tan boots.
