Police Seek Suspect in Greenpoint Coffee Shop Burglary

GREENPOINT – Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a burglary on Nassau Avenue last week.

On Tuesday, November 21, around 11:00 am, the suspect stood outside The Lot Radio coffee shop and masturbated while staring at a 20-year old female employee, said police. The employee moved into the back room of the shop, which is located at 17 Nassau Ave, between Banker and 15th Streets.

The suspect then entered the coffee shop and attempted to open the cash register, said police. When two employees re-entered the shop, the man fled. He can be seen in the surveillance video below:

Police described the suspect as a black man with a beard, last seen wearing a black jacket with red stripes along the arms, dark colored pants and a dark winter cap,
