The NYPD is looking for help identifying a man they say groped a woman in a turnstile at the DeKalb Avenue subway station one afternoon last month.

Cops say that on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at just before 3pm, a 24-year-old woman got off an R train at the local station and went to leave through a high-wheel turnstile — the floor-to-ceiling kind — when the suspect squeezed into the turnstile behind her and grabbed her buttocks, and then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a 30- to 40-year-old black man, about six feet tall and 250 pounds, who was last seen wearing black jeans with a black coat with a fur-trimmed hood.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). You can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
