Police Seek Family Dollar Burglar
A man did some after-hours “shopping” at the Family Dollar Store at 2233 Nostrand Ave near the Junction, and now police are asking for the public’s help in tracking him down.
On Wednesday, March 6 just before 2am, police say the suspect used a brick to damage the front door window, then entered and removed miscellaneous items from the location and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as between 30 and 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hooded bubble jacket, a red baseball cap, and dark construction boots.
Anyone with information about this crime or the identity and the whereabouts of this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. The NYPD says all calls are confidential.
