Police Search For Suspect Wanted In Murder Of Bay Ridge Woman [VIDEO]

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred last week in Owl’s Head Park.

Jennifer Cohen, 35, was found unconscious and unresponsive, with head and face trauma, around 9am Thursday in Owl’s Head Park. Cohen, who lived in Bay Ridge near 4th Avenue and 84th Street, was declared dead at the scene by EMS.

Cohen’s family has been notified, police said. Her body was found in an area of the park used for skating, near the vicinity of Colonial Road and Wakeman Place.

Police are searching for a man who was captured by a surveillance camera walking alongside Cohen at approximately 2:45am. The two were walking southbound on 2nd Avenue.

The male suspect is described by police as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, with a black backpack. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored baseball cap.
