Police Search For Suspect Who Shot 18-Year-Old In The Head On Bond Street

Police have released a photo and surveillance video of a suspect wanted for shooting a man in the head.

The incident took place on Monday, May 30 at approximately 6pm in front of the Gowanus Houses at 178 Bond Street (at Wyckoff Street), cops say.

The suspect shot the victim once in the head, who was then transported to Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police describe the suspect as male, black, 18-21 years old, 5’8″-5’10”, and 160 lb. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
