Police have released a sketch of a suspect “wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting” that left a Clinton Hill resident and former lawyer for Governor Andrew Cuomo, Carey W. Gabay, 43, in a coma at Kings County Hospital.

The suspect is described as “a black man, 19 or 20 years old, who was wearing a white T-shirt and black pants, and had a Jamaican flag around his neck. The officials have not specified whether the man is suspected of being the gunman or a witness,” according to the New York Times.

Gabay was shot in the head as he walked home with family friends at around 3:40am near the corner of Bedford and Sullivan Avenues in Crown Heights. He was in the area for J’ouvert, the early morning festival that precedes the West Indian American Day Parade.
