Police Release Security Footage of Green-Wood Vandal
The 72nd Precinct has released video footage, aired yesterday on News 12, that purportedly shows the Green-Wood Cemetery vandal hopping over the 5th Avenue and 25th Street entrance gate.
Green-Wood historian Jeff Richmond recently noted in his blog that last month’s shocking desecration is estimated to have caused upwards of $100,000 in damage to the historic grounds.
Spokeswoman for the 72nd Precinct, Detective Cheryl Crispin, spoke to The Brooklyn Paper and unfortunately confirmed that police have very little information to work from.
“We have no description” she told them, “but someone might recognize him.”
