Cops Need Help Catching A Police Impersonator

The NYPD needs help looking for two unidentified men, one of whom impersonated a police officer. They approached a 34-year-old man while waving a firearm in the vicinity of Farragut Road and Ralph Avenue on Sunday, May 14 around 4:40pm.

According to the police, the victim struggled to grab the gun from the first individual; individual #2 then stepped in and stated that he was a police officer.

The victim then released the gun, and both individuals fled the property. They are described by the police as follows:

Individual# 1: Black man with facial hair, unknown age, and was wearing a black hoodie and pink pants
Individual# 2: Black man, unknown age and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

As of Thursday, June 1, no arrests have been made.
