On Monday, July 7 at just after 4pm, police say the suspect, caught on camera in a photo shown here, walked up to a 44-year-old deaf and mute man on a southbound F train and struck in several times in the face. The victim got off the train at the 18th Avenue stop, and the suspect remained on the train.

Police say the victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center where he was treated for lacerations to his bottom lip.
