Police Looking For Attempted Rapist In PLG

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDEN —  NYPD needs your help in looking for a man connected to an attempted rape incident in Prospect Lefferts Garden (PLG).

Police say on Friday, March 1 at 7:30 am, an unidentified man walked into a laundry room of a multi-unit residential building near Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenue with his pants down. He exposed himself to a 30-year-old woman who was folding clothes inside the laundry room.  Immediately following, he demanded she engage in sexual activity. When the victim refused, the alleged assailant threatened the victim stating he had a knife, sexually assaulted her and attempted to rape her.

The victim fled from the laundry room and ran into a neighbor who then called 9-1-1. The person in question exited the building and fled on foot.

Police say the man is black with a light complexion, in his mid-20s, with a muscular build. He was wearing a black hat, sweatshirt and sweatpants.
