Police Ignore Accident on Shore and Ocean Ave
A reader just sent in this photo of an accident on Shore Parkway and Ocean Avenue. Though it looks minor, the cars are sitting in the middle of the intersection blocking a part of traffic. But according to the witness, police in the area are too busy to bother with it.
He says one unit of traffic police is ticketing nearby parked cars and later drove right by. Another drove by moments later without investigation, and a third is sitting on Emmons Avenue watching meters (at 9 p.m.?!).
Wow, quotas must be high this month if three units have refused to take notice, preferring instead to ticket vehicles of no immediate threat to drivers.
