Police Arrest Man In Connection With Robbery
Police arrested Kedar Harper, a 23-year-old man, on September 3, in connection with a robbery in August.
According to police, on August 27, a cab driver picked up Harper in the Bronx and drove him to Argyle Road and Church Avenue.
When the cab arrived, the driver got out of the car and went into the Ideal supermarket at 1301 Church Avenue to make change for the $100 bill the suspect gave him.
The suspect also went inside the grocery store, took back the $100 bill from the driver, and began punching him in the face. He took another $40 from the cab driver’s pocket and fled west on Church Avenue.
Harper, who lives on Caton Avenue, turned himself in at the 70th Precinct on September 3 and has been charged with 2nd degree robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.
