Police After Man In Alleged Assault & Robbery At Local Subway Station
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help tracking down a suspect who police said assaulted and robbed a 68-year-old man at the 4th Avenue/9th Street subway station around 5:45pm on Tuesday, May 15.
According to police, the victim was talking on his cell phone while walking down the stairs to the R train when the suspect punched him several times in the head, face, and body and ran off with his phone, getting away on the subway tracks.
