Looking for some fun events to enjoy with the kids this week? We’ve got some good ones coming up in the neighborhood:

Babies & Books
When: Wednesday, March 5, 10am & 10:30am
Where: Central Library, Youth Wing, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Bring your kids up to 18 months old to enjoy books, songs, and rhymes.
How much: Free, but space is limited. Pick up a ticket at the Children’s Reference Desk on the morning of the program; call 718-230-2117 for more info.

Yellow Sneaker Sing-Along
When: Wednesday, March 5, 10am
Where: Tea Lounge, 837 Union Street
What: A 45-minute interactive singalong with puppets and guitar, combining original songs, oldies, and traditional children’s music that’s geared towards kids ages 0-5 and their families​.
How much: $5 per family

Game On!
When: Thursday, March 6, 3:30pm
Where: Central Library, Youth Wing, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: This week is definitely board game weather, and kids can enjoy a bunch at the library — just ask at the children’s reference desk to sign them out.
How much: Free!

Happy Birthday, Willie!
When: Friday, March 7, 4pm
Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue
What: Join a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Whistle for Willie, the timeless Ezra Jack Keats book about a boy and his dog. There will be a storytime, crafts, and a special whistling performance.
How much: Free!

My City Park!
When: Saturday, March 8, 1pm
Where: Central Library, Dweck Center, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Kids ages 3-10 will enjoy this 45-minute educational performance (with puppets!) that tells the story of Milo, who finds out his favorite city park is going to be torn down and replaced with a shopping mall, and gets help from his friends Odessa the Owl and Bucky the Squirrel.
How much: Free!

Hip Tot Fest: The Trummytones
When: Sunday, March 9, 11am
Where: Shapeshifter Lab, 18 Whitwell Place
What: The band brings fun ska, reggae, and zydeco sounds for kids (and parents) to groove to. Plus, enjoy free crafts, face painting, and giveaways.
How much: $10 in advance, $15 at the door, non-walkers free. Get advance tickets for $8 through Wednesday using the code SKATOT.

Ready, Set, Kindergarten!
When: Sunday, March 9, 2:30pm
Where: Central Library, Youth Wing, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Families with kids ages 3-5 will enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage the development of early learning skills, helping you and your child get ready for school. Families will receive free materials to continue the learning and fun at home.
How much: Free!
