Cool Off At Lakeside’s Splash Pad
When: Seven days a week through Labor Day, 10am-7pm
Where: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park
What: Children ages 12 and under can cool off with dozens of water jets shooting out of LeFrak Center’s outside rink.
How much: Free!

Free Kids Roller Skating
When: Wednesday, August 19, 2pm
Where: LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Prospect Park
What: Grab a skate rental for $6 and skate your heart out with free admission to the rink.
How Much: Free rink admission, $6 skate rental.

Little Feet Wise Heart Yoga
When: Wednesday, August 19, 4-4:45pm
Where: Lark Cafe, 1007 Church Avenue
What: Yoga and storytime come together at this fun class created for kids ages two years and up.
How much: $15 per child, $10 for siblings.

Jam With The Dad Beats
When: Thursday, August August 20, 11am
Where: Lark Cafe, 1007 Church Avenue
What: Made up of three real-live Brooklyn dads (and neighbors), The Dad Beats traverse surf, rock and country grooves to deliver playful reimaginings of your childhood favorites.
How much: $10 per family

Sing-Along With Lucy Kalantari
When: Thursday, August 20, 4pm
Where: ELK Coffee, 154 Prospect Park Southwest
What: Join neighbor Lucy Kalantari as she sings and plays the ukulele! This is a wonderful event for kids and caregivers alike.
How much: $5 per family

Free Public Rowing
When: Saturday, August 22, 12-4pm
Where: Prospect Park’s Wellhouse Boat Ramp
What: It’s your last chance this summer to check out Prospect Park Lake by rowboat! The Prospect Park Alliance and Village Community Boathouse have again teamed up to offer the free public rowing on Saturdays, so get out on the water while you can.
How Much: Free!

The Black And Gold Marching Elite
When: Saturday, August 22, 4pm
Where: Greenwood Playground, Fort Hamilton Parkway & E 5th Street
What: March along to the playground with The Black and Gold Marching Elite.
How Much: Free!

Stomp, Clap, And Sing With FunikiJam
When: Tuesday, August 25, 11am
Where: Brooklyn Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: It’s all about getting the kids involved in this fun, interactive performance by Funkijam, who span the world in a musical adventure. Plus, if the weather is nice, it’s held outside on the plaza.
How Much: Free!

Toddler Tuesday At Studio 1203
When: Tuesday, August 25, 4pm
Where: Studio 1203, 1203 Church Avenue
What: Children are invited to this sing- and dance-along with the fabulous pianist and teacher Maxine Feldman, who will perform Disney classics, theater favorites, standards,and event the Beatles on a baby grand piano. The program is designed for children from age 0 to 4 and their caregivers, but siblings are welcome as well. Every program finishes with a chance for each child to take their own turn at the piano.
How much: $10 per family
