Play Mobile Coming To Greenwood Playground This Sunday

It’s a busy month at Greenwood Playground, with the NYC Parks Play Mobile bringing a number of organized sports (including basketball, volleyball, and soccer) to the spot this Sunday, August 10, and a variety of other fun family activities scheduled for the upcoming days.

Alongside the organized sports, the Play Mobile, which will be at the playground (located at the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and East 5th Street) from 11am to 3pm this Sunday, will offer relay races, tug-o-war, jump roping, arts and crafts, tabletop board games, face painting, ballon art, and more.

Then, next Tuesday, August 12, at 4pm, there will be a sing-along with Jen Milich – those interested in going should meet in the playground’s tot lot. On Wednesday, August 13, at 11am, parents and their children ages 0-3 are invited to see Puppetsburg’s “Fiesta” in the tot lot. People of all ages are invited to a “Come Make Mail” event with Melissa Lohman-Wild. And, on Sunday, August 17, there will be a free screening of “Star Wars” at the playground. Doors open at 8pm for the family movie night.
