Play Hockey with the Brooklyn Blades

The Brooklyn Blades are looking for more kids to fill their youth clinic. The Blades, a local hockey team that will be based out of the Prospect Park rink currently under construction, are seeking kids ages 5-11 of all skating skill levels to join for 20 weeks of hockey through mid-March. The program runs on Sundays from 8:30 to 9:50am and costs $375.

“The youth clinic is a lot of fun,” says neighbor and parent Dave Herman. “You don’t need to be a good skater to play, it’s a great way to learn to skate with pads on. And there’s a lot of opportunity to get hand me down gear on the cheap through the team.”

The team will be based out of the Aviator Sports and Events Center (3159 Flatbush Avenue) until the Prospect Park rink is finished next year.
