‘Planet Cute’ Pop-Up Shop Coming To Former Lulu’s Space On 5th Avenue

A new shop selling handmade arts and crafts is coming to 5th Avenue next week — but you’ll only have a brief chance to shop there, as they’ll be headed out after a month.

Planet Cute, which its website describes as “a collective pop-up shop,” is currently setting up at 75A 5th Avenue, between Prospect and St Marks, in the space that was home to Lulu’s Then & Now before that shop moved to 4th Avenue last month.

They’ll be selling a range of handmade gifts, which you can get a preview of on Instagram — everything from onesies and toys and other stuff for kids, to art, flasks, wallets, and more. The shop will open from June 4-28.

And since this is just a pop-up shop, the space is still available to lease. The listing says it’s about 650 square feet, and include a basement and a 450-square-foot backyard.
