Photos: Bayfest 2015 Rocks Emmons Avenue

The 24th annual Bayfest took over Emmons Avenue this Sunday, organized by the Bay Improvement Group, and drawing about a dozen performers and thousands of people into the warm weather.

With two main stages blasting music, and more bands scattered near the piers past Dooley Street, there was entertainment for all ages, and all types.

The headliner was one of the event’s biggest books to date: Broadway’s Movin’ Out – Billy Joel’s band – had crowds singing and dancing along.

There was also this guy, as there has been for the past few years. Nobody has been able to explain it, and I didn’t dare destroy the mystery by asking him.

Not to mention approximately a dozen tables from local businesses and organizations, doling out raffle prizes, giveaways and important information:
