Photo Of The Day: Joseph Goes To The Pope

Neighbor Kathie Lou Moser sent this photo in of Joseph Volpicelli of Joseph’s Haircutting Salon (97 7th Avenue, between Union and President Streets). She tells us that “he is going to Madison Square Garden to have mass with Pope Francis! Displaying his ticket from the Diocese of New York which were given to parishes throughout the city. What a happy man.”

We hope he enjoyed Mass. Volpicelli was featured in the New York Times in 2013.
