Photo: Calendar Firefighters Make A Hot Day Hotter

Most of the firefighters who posed for the 17th annual NYC Firefighters calendar were in Sheepshead Bay Wednesday evening to promote the 2013 edition of the popular calendar at an event sponsored by the Be Proud Foundation.

However, despite a gentle breeze, Mr. July (Joe Schiraldo), Mr. August (Hugh Barr) and Mr. October (Richie Brennan), did little to cool off passing females on Emmons Avenue or those few who stopped by to mingle with them at Fusion Lounge (2009 Emmons Avenue).

The money raised from sales of the calendar goes to the Staten Island University Burn Center. They can be ordered at: www.nycfirefighters.net.
