Pet Spotlight: Stella the Pitbull Mix

Breed: Pitbull mix

Age: About five

Fort Greene resident Jennifer Mooney, 35, adopted Stella when she was eight months old from Animal Care and Control of New York City. Since then, she’s taught Stella how to “play bear,” moonwalk and hop like a bunny, though Mooney admits, “It’s a stupid idea to teach your pitbull how to jump on you.”

Stella has one more trick that she saves for when Mooney is upset; she chews on Mooney’s bike pedal.
