Permits Issued for 20-story Sea Breeze Tower

BRIGHTON BEACH – New building permit for the 20 story mixed-use building located at 271 Sea Breeze Avenue was issued on August 17th, 2018, signalling that the project is moving ahead.

The tower, located across from the Asser Leavy Park, and steps from the beach, will include 114 residential rental units, of which 30% will be affordable housing, above a 27,000 square foot commercial space that the developers, RYBAK Development, hope will be home to a daycare, school and health facilities.

The rentals will span from studio to three bedroom units all with 11′ ceilings and high-end finishes in what the may be one of the first LEED® Platinum Certified buildings in South Brooklyn.
