Saturday: Free Performance Art & Dance At East 4th Street Community Garden
Join dancers at the East Fourth Street Community Garden this Saturday July 16, for their second annual free garden performance.
Four artists and dancers will be presenting original works in the lush setting starting at 4 pm, showcasing modern dance, sculptural performances using found objects, improvisation, ballet, and dance for music videos.
Ilona Bito, Macklen Mayse, Naomi Rose Rodriguez, and Julie Rooney — all NYC-based artists — have entertained audiences from Governors Island to Japan.
The East Fourth Street Community Garden, on East 4th Street between Caton Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, serves the Kensington and Windsor Terrace neighborhoods of Brooklyn. Find more events at the garden on their website or Facebook Page.
