Percy’s Pizza Closes On 1st Street

Percy’s Pizza, which was the renamed version of South Brooklyn Pizza at 447 1st Street, just off 7th Avenue, has closed up shop, reportedly because of problems renewing the lease.

This South Brooklyn Pizza location has had a bumpy year — it re-opened briefly after being closed in August of last year by City Marshals, then changed its name to Percy’s and started slinging $1 slices.

Their location in the East Village also closed recently, though EV Grieve reports they’re apparently looking for a new space.
