Now that you’ve stuffed yourself silly and lounged around the house for a full day, if you’re looking to stretch your legs and get some fresh air, we’ve rounded up some fun events — from a chess group to karaoke to a tree lighting and more — that will give you a reason to get out and about this weekend.

Chess Club
When: Friday, November 28, 4pm
Where: Central Library, Arts & History Division, 3rd Floor, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: If you’ve got the day off and you’re looking for a challenge, stop by the chess club — all ages and skill levels welcome.

Kings Of Karaoke
When: Friday, November 28, 11:59pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: It’s officially okay to sing Christmas songs now.
How much: Free!

3D Printing 101
When: Saturday, November 29, 4pm
Where: Central Library, InfoCommons Lab, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: 3DPrinterOS and Brooklyn Public Library will be sponsoring a session on creating your first 3D print. If you’re brand new to 3D printing, you’ll get a chance to learn how the hardware, software, and entire process works.
How much: Free!

Festive Fifth
When: Saturday, November 29, 6:30-9pm
Where: Corner of 5th Ave and 3rd St
What: The annual tree lighting kicks off festivities that include hot chocolate, live music, games, puppetry, deals at local shops, and, of course, a visit from Santa.
How much: Free!

The Wonderful World Of Boning: Sex Ed With A Sense Of Humor
When: Sunday, November 30, 8pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: Writer, sex educator, and funny lady Lux Alptraum teams up with comedian friends to take a tour of classic sex education videos — featured this month are Josh Gondelman and Aparna Nancherla.
How much: $8, tickets available in advance.
