Looking for a new place to call home? We’ve rounded up a bunch of apartments that are currently available to rent in the neighborhood — take a look at the details, and let us know what you think. Lots of luck in your search!

Shoebox Studio For A Shoestring Budget
Available: January 1
Price: $1,950, plus broker fee
Details: Maybe “shoestring” is a strong word, but as Park Slope apartments go, it’s not looking any cheaper for a place of one’s own. If you have a twin bed, can rearrange the unit’s current setup, or are just really good at dodging refrigerators in the dark, you’ll be able to reap the benefits of this place on 8th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues — including a dishwasher, in-building laundry, and easy access to transportation and amenities. Pets are also apparently allowed (we’d recommend something teacup-sized).

Classic One-Bed Near Prospect Park
Available: Immediately
Price: $2,200, plus broker fee
Details: Here’s a place with a little more breathing room — but also a little more rent. On 3rd Street between 8th Avenue and PPW, this apartment has lovely prewar details like moulding and parquet floors, and we suspect some good light from all those windows in the daytime. It’s not quite as close to the subway as the apartment above, but you will have the option of the 2/3 or F/G as well as a near-ish Greenmarket and library branch, plus your fair share of urban greenery right across the street.

Prospect Place No-Fee Space
Available: Immediately
Price: $2,950, no broker fee
Details: Addressed in the listing as both a two-bedroom and a 1.5, it seems safe to say this unit (pictured above) between 6th Avenue and Flatbush would at least make for a great one-bed with an office or guest room, if not a full-time place for two. It looks nice and airy with lots of windows, plus a kitchen that, while it’s not exactly modern, will allow for seamless cooking/entertaining/interactions with hungry friends on the living room couch. Perhaps the clincher for this one, though, is it will only take two months’ rent to move in, and there’s no broker fee — so check out a scheduled open house, or claim the apartment as your own before someone else gets the chance.

5th Avenue Three-Bed for Less
Available: Immediately
Price: $3,300, plus broker fee
Details: There are no photos available for this three-bedroom, two-bathroom (yay!) place on a main Park Slope drag, but between the promised location, the description, and the lowest per-bedroom price on the roster this week, it’s still got us mighty curious. “Sun-drenched” and “spacious” aren’t words we hate, and a small pet is allowed here too — plus, if you’re going the roommate route, at $1,100 per person if split evenly, you may still have some budget left to actually enjoy our local grub and goods.
