What: Hear The Harvest Trio from West Coast Baptist College, a traveling singing tour group that will be accompanied by a pianist. Dr. Mark Rasmussen, Executive Vice-President of the College, will be presenting a challenge.

Celebrate Brooklyn: Lake Street Dive And Amos Lee

Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, 9th Street and Prospect Park West
What: Lake Street Dive and their mix indie/pop/swing tunes joins Philly singer/songwriter Amos Lee for another fantastic night of music at Celebrate Brooklyn on Friday.

Kentile Floors Sign Lighting Up

What: Before the iconic Kentile Floors sign is dismantled, see a looping light show projected on the giant letters!
Owl Farm’s Second Anniversary

What: Our friends at The Owl Farm are celebrating two years, and it’s going to be one heck of a party. Festivities start at 8am (yes, 8am) with a collection of breakfast beers (!!!), beer and shot combos, rare bottles by the glass, and a stellar draft lineup. Happy anniversary, Owl Farm!

Celebrate Brooklyn: Dum Dum Girls, Hospitality, And Teen

What: If you’ve ever found yourself wondering what ’60s girl groups would sound like if their music went through “a garage rock meat grinder,” Celebrate Brooklyn is the place to be on Saturday, as Dum Dum Girls are set to take the stage, joined by Brooklyn bands Hospitality and Teen.

World Wide Knit In Public Day

What: The Brooklyn Knit and Crochet Guild hosts a fun day of knitting (and other fiberly crafts) in the park, with knitting and crochet instruction, spinning demonstrations, raffles, and more.
