Park Slope Open House Picks

Park Slope Open House Picks
675 Sackett Street #110 via Brooklyn Hearth

Looking for a new place to call home? From a 3-family brownstone with an owner’s duplex to a 1-bedroom with a little bonus room, we’ve rounded up a few places for sale that are hosting open houses this weekend and have broken down the offerings below. What do you think?

427 6th Street
Open House: Sunday, July 27, 2-4pm
List Price: $2,999,000, via Douglas Elliman
Details: No photos of the interior yet, but you can get a glimpse of this 3-family, 4-story brownstone at its first showing this weekend. It’s currently configured with duplex owner’s duplex on the bottom along with an unfinished basement, then two floor-through rentals on the top floors. The listing promises a lot of nice details like French doors, ceiling medallions and plaster ornamentation, and more, which at that price, it certainly should have.

675 Sackett Street, #110
Open House: Sunday, July 27, 12-2pm
List Price: $1,599,999, common charges $802, via Brooklyn Hearth Realty
Details: This open and airy 2-bed, 3-bath duplex (pictured above) is in a condo that was built in 2003, so it has a lot of modern touches, including central air conditioning, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer hookup. In case you want to spread out even more, the building has two shared outdoor areas — a large roofdeck and a play area for kids. It’s located just around the corner from a new community garden and the R subway stop at Union.

15A Berkeley Place, #3A
Open House: Sunday, July 27, 12:30-2pm
List Price: $799,000, maintenance $779, via Corcoran
Details: There’s a recently updated kitchen and bathroom and a washer/dryer in this 2-bed, 1-bath co-op located just off 5th Avenue. We’re not sure it’ll happen here, but we have a friend whose address has an A after the number, and she has the hardest time getting pizzas delivered — Seamless never seems to recognize the address. But you’ve got that nice kitchen, so you probably won’t be ordering out much.

427 9th Street, #3
Open House: Sunday, July 27, 2-3pm
List Price: $499,000, maintenance $905, via Douglas Elliman
Details: That seems like a bit of a hefty maintenance on this 1-bed, 1-bath co-op, but the list price has come down from an initial $575,000 in April. The bedroom has a windowed separate room just off it — perhaps you can use it as a dressing area, an office, or possibly even a nursery? Plus there’s a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the unit.
