Park Slope dog lovers have three great pup-up events to check out this week.

First, real estate firm Compass is hosting Brokers for Barkers today, an event to benefit Foster Dogs Inc, a non-profit animal welfare organization committed to rescuing dogs and placing them in loving foster homes.

The event kicks off at the Compass office located at 514 2nd Street (at 7th Avenue) Thursday afternoon, July 13, from 3pm to 5pm. There will be activities for the kids including arts and crafts, snacks, and a meet-and-greet with adoptable dogs. Photographer Milla Chappell will be on hand to document the event and post photos onto Facebook.

Then from 6:30 to 9:30pm, Compass will host a 21+ “pawty” with a selection of Tito’s Vodka cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, Rescue Chocolate, and adorable rescue pups waiting to be adopted.

RSVP required.

On Saturday, July 15, all the fashionable Fidos will flock to Freddy’s Bar and Backroom at 627 Fifth Avenue for the pup-ular fourth annual Doggy Fashion Show.

A part of the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID’s South Slope Summer Strolls happening between 12th to 18th Streets, stylish pooches will don their canine couture, walk the red carpet, pose for puparazzi, and sashay down the dogwalk.

The party starts at 5pm in front of Freddy’s Bar on 5th Avenue between 17th & 18th Streets. The fashion show starts at 6pm. There will be prizes as well as beer and food specials.

Want to enter your aspiring Cindy Pawford? You can register Saturday, July 15 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at the entry table in front of Freddy’s. Make sure your four-legged supermodel is dressed to impress.
