Cops Release Photos In Park Slope Attempted Rapes
PARK SLOPE – Cops are still searching for the individuals who attempted to rape two women earlier this month. They have some photos.
To recap, on September 8 at around 4:30 a.m., a 26-year-old woman was entering her building at Garfield Place and Prospect Park West when a man followed her through the open door and exposed himself. He grabbed the woman’s waist and tried to prevent her from entering the building farther. The woman struggled and then the man fled toward Prospect Park West. Cops just released the photo of the suspect below.
He is described as a 5’10 to 6’2” tall black man with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Then, on September 16 at around 7 p.m., a 17-year-old girl was walking on Carroll Street and Eighth Avenue when a man approached her from behind. He grabbed her butt and threatened to sexually assault her. Thankfully, she was able to escape. A 50-year-old man witnessed the incident and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect kicked the man and fled.
