Parade Ground Gets New Bathroom

You may remember reading after a recent Community Board 14 meeting that a new bathroom is coming to the Parade Ground. Well, you’ll see work starting on the new loos next month, according to the DP Patch (yes, the Patch is up and running). The bathroom will be located next to the snack bar that’s smack in the middle of the Parade Ground, and it should be open by next spring.

In the meantime, if you gotta go, where do you go? Prospect Park’s map shows where bathrooms are in the park (though the one at the skating rink is closed during construction). Any parents bring your kids to the Vanderbilt Playground, which is located in that bathroom-less stretch on the west side of the park? If so, where do you find a bathroom?

Also, aren’t there some port-a-potties located in a few places, like by the entrance at Park Circle? Maybe not the best option, but good to know where they are–anyone know?
