Are you hungry for tortas, 7th Avenue? Hope so, because you’ll be able to get your fill when a new Mexican restaurant opens tomorrow.

The owner of Papi’s Grill at 161 7th Avenue, between Garfield and 1st, tells us they’re ready to start serving their menu of tacos, tortas, huaraches, weekend tamales, and more starting this Saturday, April 25 — so if you stop in this weekend, let us know how it is!

The new space, which was originally announced back in February as the second outpost of a Sunset Park bakery known for its tacos and tortas, takes the place of Piccola Uva, which consolidated with its sister space Tutta Pasta across the street.

You can check out the full menu here, and note that they’ve applied for a liquor license, which is in progress. Also, they’ll be serving breakfast, so they’ll be open early, with the following hours: Sunday-Thursday 6am-10pm, and Friday-Saturday 6am-11pm, and they will be offering delivery, call 917-909-0589.
