Pamir Village Cafe Closed by Health Department
Pamir Village Cafe on the corner of Parkville Avenue and Coney Island Avenue has been closed for over two weeks (since September 11) by order of the Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene.
The cafe scored 40 points on its health inspection (zero is a perfect score). Violations included live roaches spotted, evidence of mice, poor refrigeration and more, according to the Department of Health. The cafe has been inspected twice since September 11 but has failed to pass tests because of continued and critical vermin and refrigeration violations.
Calls for comment to the cafe for comment were not answered.
