Own A Business In Park Slope? Become A ‘Safe Stop’
Safe Stop

With school in session and the days getting shorter, keeping our kids, and our community, safe is a high priority. If you’re a local business owner, one way you can help is by becoming a Safe Stop.

A community outreach initiative from Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes, Safe Stop merchants display a decal in their store windows designating the location as a Safe Stop; receive training about the program; make public safety information from the District Attorney’s Office and the NYPD available in their store; and refer non-emergency situations to the local DA neighborhood office. Emergencies are handled through 911.

There are already a number of locations in Park Slope, but there can always be more. To apply, see this form, and for more info, call 718-250-2247.
