Optimum Internet Subscribers May Lose Service Tonight

We just received notification from Optimum Online that internet service in our area may go down today as they roll out upgrades throughout the neighborhood. That got us worried, because we were all like, “Oh no! What will readers do now to get their daily dose of Sheepshead Bites?!”

Well, we’ve got you covered. Or, I guess, Optimum has you sort-of-kind-of covered. Here’s what they have to say:

To deliver you the best service possible, in the coming days we will be upgrading our Optimum Network in your area. This will ensure that we continue to bring you even faster, reliable Optimum Online high-speed Internet service

During this upgrade you may experience a temporary interruption of your Internet connection. To minimize disruption to our customers, the upgrade will take place during the early morning hours of 1:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
