Opening: Euro Style Shoes, Designer Boutique
One designer shoe boutique has closed and, lo and behold, is now replaced by a designer shoe boutique – Euro Style Shoes.
The storefront at 1669 Sheepshead Bay Road got its sign installed last week. The inside – though sparsely stocked when I stopped by – is creatively decorated and has a lot of open space. The owner said she owns another shoe store in Moscow, but that this is her first U.S. location. She has free candy on the counter. Who can argue with free candy?
Anyway, the store that was previously there was the Mini Centro Italian Shoe Factory Outlet. For years, they occupied two spaces a few doors apart – one for men, one for women. I believe this was the men’s location, now closed. Perhaps it’s because they didn’t offer candy.
Anyway – best of luck to the new neighborhood shop!
