Brooklyn Central coming to former Pete's space

Construction is in progress at the former Pete’s Pizzeria space on 5th Avenue, which is expected to open as Brooklyn Central in October. The owners, Matthew Hyland and Roberto Patriarca, met while working at Boerum Hill’s popular Sottacasa and are doing a complete renovatioin. The new pizzeria will feature wood-fired pies and locally-sourced ingredients, including house-made charcuterie and local wines.
