NYPD Watchtower Goes Up On Church Avenue & E 18th Street

Have you noticed the police tower now sitting on Church Avenue and E 18th Street? The new addition to the avenue, snapped by Avi Glickstein, is set up in an existing Impact Zone, and an officer we spoke to at the 70th today said it’s simply common practice to move the tower around for maximum effect, and not a reaction to any particular incidents in the area.
