Update: Desean Walcott Charged With Nostrand Avenue Armed Robbery

Update 1/28: The NYPD says 18-year-old Desean Walcott of Bainbridge Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant has been taken into custody, and charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Previously: The NYPD is looking for a man they say robbed a Flatbush Junction area grocery store early this morning.

Police say the suspect entered Yung Market (2122 Nostrand Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Glenwood Road) at about 4:09am on Monday, January 27, took out a gun, and demanded money. The store clerk complied, and the suspect fled with cash.
