NYPD Searching For E 7th St. & Ave. H Purse Snatcher
The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man who stole a woman’s purse and knocked her down around E 7th St. and Ave. H on Thursday, May 2.
Police say a 71 year-old woman was walking down the street around 4:50pm when the man came up behind her, grabbed her bag, and pushed her to the ground before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a black man 25-30 years old, 5’6″-5’8″ tall, slim, and wearing all black clothing including a black ski hat.
Anyone with information about this crime or the identity and the whereabouts of this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
