NYPD Releases Video Of A Bicycle Thief In Crown Heights

CROWN HEIGHTS – The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the below photo and video in connection to a recent burglary in Crown Heights.

At approximately 8am on Friday, August 18 and 11pm on Saturday, August 19, a black male entered a residential apartment building near the intersection of St. Johns Place and Rogers Avenue, according to police.

The suspect entered the building through an unlocked door on the roof. He then walked down to the building’s basement where he helped himself to a Dawes bicycle, police say.
