NYPD Looking For Suspects Who They Say Beat A Man Unconscious On Subway
The F/G train has been pretty rough lately. We’ve seen several assaults happening at Smith-9th Streets and 4th Ave-9th Street.
The police are now on the lookout for suspects who assaulted a 43-year-old man at Smith-9th Streets on Sunday, July 12 around 9:50pm.
The man was riding the subway when he started arguing with the suspects. The altercation escalated and the suspects beat the victim unconscious. The suspects then fled the location. The victim was removed to Methodist Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577. Police say all calls are confidential.
