NYPD: Help Us Find Man Who Robbed Livery Cab Driver At Knifepoint

After a man held a knife to a livery cab driver’s throat during a robbery at 43rd Street and 8th Avenue early Thursday morning, police are asking the public to help them identify and locate the individual captured in the above surveillance video.

According to the NYPD, the hooded suspect entered the livery cab at 41st Street and 9th Avenue around 1:38am Thursday morning and asked the 47-year-old male driver to take him to 43rd Street and 8th Avenue. Upon arriving at the destination, the suspect placed a knife to the victim’s neck and demanded money, making off with $120 in cash and an iPhone5, police said.

The victim suffered a cut to his middle finger but did not go to the hospital.
