NYPD: Help Us Find Four Burglars Who Stole Diabetic Strips, Rogaine From Area Pharmacies

After a team of four men burglarized pharmacies in Kensington, Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge, police are asking for the public’s help tracking down the suspects who nabbed diabetic test strips and Rogaine products.

The police said Tuesday evening:

  • The suspects stole diabetic test strips from the Duane Reade at 436 86th Street on Sunday, November 16 around 10:12pm.
  • The same day, November 16, at 10:30pm, the suspects hit up the Walgreens at 1511 86th Street and pocketed some more diabetic test strips.
  • On Wednesday, November 19, at 12:56pm, the men swiped yet another batch of diabetic test strips, this time from the CVS Pharmacy at 2151 86th Street.
  • The team of burglars switched things up a bit on Sunday, November 23, when they nabbed Rogaine products from the same Duane Reade at 436 86th Street.
  • The suspects moved north that day, November 23, and stole a “miscellaneous medication”from the CVS Pharmacy at 411 Ditmas Avenue.

The NYPD described the first suspect, shown above, as a man in his late 40s who was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue faded jeans, a green sweater, and a black winter hat.

The second suspect is in his early 40s and was last seen wearing a black winter jacket, a dark sweater and jeans, police said.

The third suspect was described by police as being in his late 30s. He was last seen wearing a black knee-length jacket, a sweatshirt, dark pants, a black winter hat, and glasses.

And the fourth suspect is in his early 30s and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a gray sweatshirt underneath, pants, a scarf, and a baseball hat.

Anyone who has information in regards to these incidents and the suspects are asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
